Credits are the only currency that matters once you are inside Picturesque — whether you are rendering a Nano Banana Pro campaign set or batching Kling 3.0 vertical ads. Understanding how credits refill, roll over, and convert into generations is the fastest way to avoid surprise balance drops.
Picturesque prices every model in credits. Subscriptions refill a monthly pool; packs add credits that never expire. Free users still get a real daily allowance to test flagship models before upgrading.

How the Credit System Works
1 credit ≈ $0.01 at list price on Picturesque. When you generate, the studio deducts a fixed amount based on the model and settings — not a hidden token meter.
Two balance types coexist:
- Subscription credits — refill each billing cycle; unused credits can roll over up to 1.5× your monthly allotment
- Pack credits — purchased ad hoc; never expire
Flagship Model Costs
These numbers come directly from Picturesque `models.ts` and represent typical single-generation costs:
| Model | Credits | Notes |
|---|
| Nano Banana Pro | 15 | Per image; up to 20 refs; 1K/2K/4K |
|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0 | 60 | 5s clip, 1080p standard |
| SeeDance 2.0 Pro | 70 | 5s clip; 720p/1080p |
| SeeDance 2.0 Fast | 60 | 5s clip; 480p/720p |
| Hailuo 2.3 | 34 | 5s standard tier |
| Hailuo 2.3 Fast | 22 | Faster draft tier |
| Wan 2.7 Edit | 16 | Per edit job |
| Wan 2.7 Extend | 16 | Per extend job |
Longer durations, higher resolutions, or premium quality toggles can increase video costs on some models. The studio shows the exact debit before you confirm.
What Each Subscription Tier Buys
Dollar prices change. Check Billing for live amounts. The math below uses August 2026 credit pools and the costs above:
| Tier | Monthly credits (approx.) | Nano Banana Pro images/mo | Kling 3.0 clips/mo (5s) |
|---|
| Free | 15/day (~450/mo if claimed daily) | ~1/day | Not practical daily |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 900 | ~60 | ~15 |
| Pro | 3,500 | ~233 | ~58 |
| Ultimate | 8,000 | ~533 | ~133 |
| Creator | 24,000 | ~1,600 | ~400 |
Unlimited Nano Banana Pro Window
New Ultimate and Creator subscribers can run Nano Banana Pro in Unlimited mode for the first 7 days after activation — 0 credits per image with a throttled queue and a 2K resolution cap. It is designed as an onboarding sprint, not a permanent free tier.
Read the full mechanics — toggle location, throttling, when to switch back to paid 4K — in the Nano Banana Pro Unlimited guide.
Packs vs Subscriptions
Subscriptions win when you generate every week and want rollover plus tier perks (parallelism, commercial license on upper tiers, unlimited Nano Banana windows).
Packs win when projects are sporadic — buy credits, use them over months, no recurring charge. Pack credits never expire.
We do not list fixed pack dollar prices here because promotions change. Open Billing for the current rate table.
Parallelism and Tier Perks
Credit pools are only half the equation. Higher tiers unlock more concurrent jobs — free users run 1 parallel video and 2 parallel images; Creator runs 8 of each. That matters when you are batching Nano Banana Pro matrices or queuing overnight Kling 3.0 renders.
Commercial usage license is included on Ultimate and Creator subscriptions. Confirm your tier on Billing before client exports. If client work is on the table, confirm your tier on Billing before exporting.
Limitations to Be Aware Of
Credits are model-specific in practice. 60 credits buys one Kling 3.0 clip or four Nano Banana Pro images — plan per deliverable.
Free daily credits do not roll over. Use them or lose them each day.
Subscription rollover has a cap. You cannot bank infinite months at the full monthly rate; the 1.5× cap prevents hoarding.
Unlimited mode has guardrails. Throttling, 2K cap, and the 7-day window mean it is not a substitute for paid 4K production.
Prices update when providers change API rates. We refresh `models.ts` when upstream costs shift; this guide's tables reflect July 2026.
Recommended Budget Workflow
Step 1: Track one week of real usage — count how many Nano Banana Pro stills and Kling 3.0 clips you actually ship.
Step 2: Multiply by the credit table above. If monthly spend exceeds a Basic or Pro pool, upgrade; if you generate twice a month, buy a pack.
Step 3: Draft expensive video on SeeDance 2.0 Fast (60 credits) or Hailuo 2.3 Fast (22 credits) before promoting winners to SeeDance 2.0 Pro or Kling 3.0.
Step 4: New Ultimate/Creator subs should burn the Unlimited guide sprint in week one for reference libraries, then switch to paid 4K for heroes.
Step 5: Revisit Billing quarterly — new models and promos shift the best $/credit path.
Try Picturesque with the Right Credit Plan
Start free with 15 daily credits, then scale through subscriptions or packs when your Nano Banana Pro and Kling 3.0 volume justifies it.
