Wan 3.0 and Wan 3.0 Prime on Picturesque, in one minute: same Alibaba video stack, same 2–30 second ceiling, same 480P / 720P / 1080P ladder, audio on by default. Prime is the faster queue. It is not a quality step-up. A 5-second 720P clip is 70 credits on Wan 3.0 and 88 credits on Prime.
Open Billing before you render. Freemium is 15 daily credits. Even the cheapest 5-second 480P Wan 3.0 quote is 35 credits, so a first clip needs a pack or a plan. Packs never expire. Ultimate is 8,000 credits from $45.

What the Table Misses
Search results for wan 3.0 are noisy. Affiliate pages promise native 4K, Apache-2.0 weights, and free local downloads. None of that is true of the live model. Wan 3.0 is API-only, closed weights, 480P / 720P / 1080P. Duration grew from 15 seconds on Wan 2.7 to 30 seconds in one pass. Audio rides along with the picture instead of a silent file you score later.
The other gap is what Picturesque actually sends. Upstream Wan 3.0 can take a document or a webpage as an R2V input. Video Studio does not expose that yet. On Picturesque you get text-to-video, first-frame or first+last image-to-video, and reference-to-video with images and videos. We will not fake a PDF uploader.
Wan 3.0 at 70 Credits (5s, 720P)
Wan 3.0 is the default SKU. Open Video Studio, leave audio on unless you need a silent plate, and pick duration between 2 and 30 seconds. Resolution is 480P, 720P, or 1080P. Aspect ratios include 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, and 3:4.
Text-to-video. Prompt only. Write one continuous action for short clips. For 20–30 second takes, spell the beats in the prompt (sunrise, chore, storm) so the model does not pad a 5-second idea to half a minute.
Image-to-video. Upload a first frame. Add a last frame when you want a locked start and end, such as day-to-night on the same street. The prompt should describe motion and camera, not restate the still.
Reference-to-video. Switch to the References tab. You can add up to 10 images and 5 videos. Mention `Image 1` and `Video 1` in the prompt when you need a specific face or motion lock. Combined reference video is capped at 15 seconds.

Limitation: A 30-second 1080P take is 840 credits. That is more than a tenth of an Ultimate month. Draft at 480P or 720P, then spend 1080P on the keepers.
Wan 3.0 Prime at 88 Credits (5s, 720P)
Wan 3.0 Prime accepts the same modes, the same frames, the same reference slots, and the same audio default. The only product difference you should plan around is speed versus credits.

When to Stay on Wan 2.7
Wan 2.7 still wins the cheap 1080P clip. List price is 16 credits for a 2–15 second generation, and Wan 2.7 Edit / Wan 2.7 Extend stay at 16 credits each. That chain is how you patch a wardrobe or add five seconds without paying a 3.0 10-second quote.
Move to Wan 3.0 when you need a single take longer than 15 seconds, in-pass audio you do not want to mux later, or more than five image references. Read the older Wan 2.7 video guide if you are still on that workflow.
Wan 2.6 vs 3.0 is the wrong primary question on Picturesque. Wan 2.6 is a hidden prior SKU. Compare 2.7 (cheap, 15s, edit chain) against 3.0 (30s, audio, more refs).
Wan 3.0 vs Kling 3.0 and SeeDance

Use Kling 3.0 when the job is multi-shot narrative at about 60 credits per 5 seconds. Use SeeDance 2.5 when you need a dense omni-reference stack (images, video, audio) and 30-second takes at 720P. Use Wan 3.0 when you want Alibaba-native I2V / R2V with audio and a simple credit table you can quote from dry-run.
Do not pick Wan 3.0 because a SERP title said "best AI video generator." That query is not winnable from DR ~0 overnight, and it is not how these SKUs get bought.
Limitations to Be Aware Of
No 4K. Resolution stops at 1080P.
No open weights. You cannot download Wan 3.0 for ComfyUI.
No document-to-video in the studio. PDF, deck, and webpage inputs are not wired in Video Studio, Director, or Workflows yet.
R2V audio clips are not in the picker. The studio sends image and video references. Driving audio as an R2V asset is not a UI control.
Freemium will not cover a clip. 15 daily credits < 35 credits.

Recommended Workflow
Step 1: Lock the still on SeeDream 4.5 or Wan 2.7 Image if you need I2V. Match lighting language in the motion prompt.
Step 2: Open Wan 3.0. Draft at 5 seconds / 720P / 70 credits. Keep audio on.
Step 3: If the motion is right and you need length, raise duration before you raise resolution. A 10-second 720P pass is 140 credits. A 5-second 1080P pass is also 140 credits. Length and pixels cost the same at that point, so pick the one the deliverable needs.
Step 4: Switch to Prime only when you are repeating the same settings and the wait is the bottleneck.
Step 5: If 15 seconds would have been enough, go back to Wan 2.7 next time and keep the 16-credit edit chain.
